I wear my back quiver at target and it doesn't get in the way of other people much. It seems like people admire me using one but think if they wore them it'd look weird. It's mostly preference but traditional and field/3d shooters tend to wear back quivers more and competition and target shooters usually have a hip quiver. I have a few of both types but in the end chose to use a back quiver.
